NO. 763 / BILL NO. 210 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 763, and <br /> attached Bill No. 210, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Bill No. 210 is to amend the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 7, <br /> Section 24-291, Schedule 39 (2 hour parking meter zones), by deleting the existing two-hour parking <br /> meter zone fronting Hilo High School and converting it to a no parking zone. <br /> Communication No. 763 is lrom Ms. Donna Fay K. Kiyosaki, Chief Engineer of the Department of <br /> Public Works requesting that the existing two-hour parking meter zone fronting Hilo High School be <br /> deleted and converted to a no parking zone. Ms. Kiyosaki informs that Hilo High School Principal Dr. <br /> John Masuhara concurred with this proposal as parking is available within the school parking lot for <br /> visitors.
