FC-40 Page 4 August 12, 2008 Comm. 1366: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER (Res. 716-08) INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR THE BALANCED TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR POSITION GRANT; and (Bi11342) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 08-78, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 (appropriates $72,138 into the Balanced Transportation Coordinator account for a Balanced Transportation Coordinator position in the Planning Department which will be responsible for initiating, coordinating and developing acounty-wide program/plan to ensure bicycle, pedestrian and non-motorized modes of transportation are incorporated into the County's infrastructure along with transit) From Finance Director William Takaba, dated July 24, 2008, transmitting the above bill.
