McClure Director OLT We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5 Parking, Section 24- 280, Schedule 28 No parking at any time, under paragraph (c) South Hilo, subparagraph (127) be; amended by revising existing item: (127) Pauahi Street, Puna side, [from feet in the makni dir-eetion, fr-ofn Aupuni Street for- a distanee of two hundred feet in ] from Kamehameha Avenue for a distance of two hundred fifty feet in the mauka direction. The first listed parking restriction was established to allow adequate sight distance for the Aupuni Center driveway that has since been removed. The second listed parking restriction can be implemented without being in the Hawaii County Code, per section 24- 190., subparagraphs l and 4. The intent of this amendment is to update the Hawaii County Code and to be consistent with the existing conditions along Pauahi Street. A. vocation map is attached for your reference.
