Communication No. 1506.2 from Civil Defense Administrator Quince Mento, <br />dated October 27, 2008, submitting a Detailed Budget Worksheet, which states the correct amounts for the FY <br />2008 Homeland Security Grant. The FY 2008 HSGP funds are provided <br />to prevent, deter, respond to, and recover from threats and incidents of terrorism and it supports the County of <br />Hawaii in leveraging funding to support Homeland Security Initiatives. A total of $1,095,461 was granted to <br />the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency and are to be used for the continued development of the State <br />Homeland Security Program (HSGP) and the Citizen Corps Program (CCP). <br />Communication No. 1506.1 from Civil Defense Administrator Quince Mento, submitting a Detailed Budget <br />Worksheet for the FY 2008 Homeland Security Grant was presented to Your Committee at its meeting on <br />October 21, 2008. <br />FC REPORT NO. 363 <br />
