September 2003 to July 2005 <br />^ Waste Management Engineer for the State of California -Environmental <br />Protection Agency -Integrated Waste Management Board's Solid Waste Disposal <br />and Codisposal Site Cleanup Program. Responsible for project management tasks <br />including Phase I and II site investigations, preparation of remedial action plans, <br />environmental quality compliance, review of contractor's work plans, cost <br />estimates, schedules, invoices, oversight for remediation work, site safety <br />monitoring, confirmation sampling and analysis and preparation of final <br />completion reports. In addition, performed as grant manager for approximately <br />$2,500,000 in local government grants and contract manager fora $3,000,000 <br />engineering services contract. August 2001 -August 2003 <br />^ Construction Engineer for CH2M Hill. Duties included management of staff <br />and consultants, project planning and design, preparation of construction bid <br />documents & regulatory reports, construction management, and construction <br />quality assurance monitoring for solid waste and wastewater projects. May 2000 <br />to August 2001 <br />^ Landfill Engineer for the Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority (Joint Powers <br />Governmental Agency responsible for operating and maintaining four landfills <br />and one transfer station within unincorporated areas of Monterey County, <br />California). Duties included review of plans and specifications, cost analysis and <br />project management for capitol improvement and solid waste projects. Duties <br />also included management of engineering, geotechnical, environmental <br />consultants, and landfill operations contractors to ensure regulatory and <br />contractual compliance for Authority facilities. May 1999 to May 2000 <br />^ Construction Engineer for, Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates. Duties included <br />management of staff and consultants, project planning and design, preparation of <br />construction bid documents & regulatory reports, construction management and <br />construction quality assurance monitoring for solid waste and wastewater <br />projects. September 1991 to May 1999 <br />^ Owned and operated construction engineering company. Services included <br />concrete and masonry construction, and land surveying. Responsibilities included <br />estimating, planning and scheduling, project administration, and construction <br />services. <br />^ Professional land surveyor, assisted in all phases of informational, land, and <br />construction surveys.
