N <br /> .C <br /> Re: An Ordinance Designating TMK (3) 4-8-004:006 as the "Waipi'o <br /> Community Park," Pursuant to Section 15-67(a)(2)(A) and Amending <br /> Chapter 15, Article 8, Section 15-68.1, Hawai'i County Code, to Amend the <br /> Parks and Recreational Facilities Schedule to Reflect Such Designation <br /> <br /> Resolution 427-06 authorized the Mayor to enter into negotiation for the parcel known as <br /> the Rice Property, TMK (3) 4-8-004:006. The property was designated by the Public <br /> Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission as a high <br /> priority. <br /> <br /> Recently, that parcel has been acquired by the County, via the Public Access, Open <br /> Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Fund. <br /> <br /> Please find attached an ordinance to hereby designate the approximately 1.8 acre property <br /> situated at TMK (3) 4-8-004:006 to be named the "Waipi'o Community Park." <br /> <br /> The ordinance also amends chapter 15, article 8, section 15-68.1, of the Hawai'i County Code <br /> 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), to add this facility to the Hilo/Hamakua <br /> Parks and recreational facilities schedule. <br /> <br /> <br /> DY/so <br /> Att. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SZp3 c <br /> Comm.
