June 6, 2007: Effective date of Final Plan Approval for an industrial/ warehouse <br /> <br /> building on the subject property. <br /> SIMILAR REZONINGS IN THE AREA <br /> <br /> 8. Ordinance No. 03 20: Effective February 20, 2003, this ordinance changed the zoning <br /> of TMK's 7-3-51:66, 67, 68, and 69 from Limited Industrial - 1 acre (ML-I a) to <br /> <br /> Industrial-Commercial Mixed - 1 acre (MCX-Ia). These properties are adjacent to the <br /> subject property along its west border. <br /> <br /> 9. Ordinance No. 07 11: Effective February 21, 2007, this ordinance changed the zoning <br /> of TMK 7-3-51:96 from Limited Industrial - 1 acre (ML-I a) to Industrial-Commercial <br /> <br /> Mixed - 1 acre (MCX-1 a). This property is located approximately 1,500 feet south of the <br /> subject property, at the southeast comer of Maiau Street and Kamanu Street. <br /> <br /> STATE AND COUNTY PLANS <br /> 10. State Land Use Designation: Urban. <br /> <br /> 11. General Plan LUPAG Map: Industrial. <br /> 12. CountyZoning: ML-la. <br /> <br /> 13. Proposed MCX Zoning: The purpose of the MCX (industrial-commercial mixed use) <br /> district is to allow mixing of some industrial uses with commercial uses. The intent of <br /> <br /> this district is to provide for areas of diversified businesses and employment opportunities <br /> by permitting a broad range of uses, without exposing non-industrial uses to unsafe and <br /> <br /> unhealthy environments.
