The Office of Housing and Community <br /> Development (OHCD) has requested, and I concur, that the attached <br /> Ordinance be placed on the council agenda for 1" Reading and be waived <br /> from the Hawaii County Housing Agency. <br /> Timely approval is crucial. To ensure timely expenditures, the State's <br /> Department of Labor and Industrial Relations will require that all ARRA <br /> funds be spent by June 30, 2010. It is therefore critical that <br /> approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the April 8, 2009 <br /> Council agenda.
