Mrs. Lindsay is a retired <br /> school administrator and psychologist and is a <br /> member of the Republican Party. Kiriu, dated <br /> December 9, 1997, transmitting for approval the above <br /> report prepared by Deloitte and Touche. This report <br /> satisfies the requirement of Section 10-13, Hawaii <br /> County Charter, relating to the responsibility of the <br /> Council to conduct an annual independent audit of <br /> accounts and other evidences of financial transactions <br /> of the County and of every county agency and executive <br /> agency. <br /> Recommendations include the potential for significant <br /> problems adjusting the County's computer system for the <br /> year 2000; consideration of an internal audit function; <br /> and the need to improve the collection of past due <br /> sewer and landfill receiveable accounts. <br /> <br />
