COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 09-48, RELATING TO THE <br />INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 09-48, Section 3, is amended by amending <br />subsections (a) and (b) of section 5-2.1.1 to read as follows: <br />"(a) The "2006 International Energy Conservation Code", March 2007 Edition, <br />published by the INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL, INC., <br />Publications, 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, IL 60478- <br />5795 [ a a--~ ~`° ° °°` °~~' ~ °~`'°" '~°`], is adopted by reference <br />and made a part of this chapter, subject to the amendments hereinafter set <br />forth in this article. <br />(b) Copies of the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code, March 2007 <br />Edition, and amendments thereto shall be available for public inspection at <br />the department of public works and the office of the county clerk." <br />SECTION 2. Items (1) - (15), as located in Section 3 of Ordinance No. 09-48, shall not <br />be affected by the enactment of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need <br />not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person <br />or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of <br />the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this <br />end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />
