With the <br />diversity of new "moped" products, certain two-wheeled vehicles are being sold and <br />bought as Mopeds, but they fit the technical specifications of Motorcycles and must be <br />registered as such. <br />The purpose of this measure is to clarify that prior to registering a Moped as a <br />Moped/Bicycle, the owner must present their Safety Check Inspection documentation to <br />the Motor Vehicle Registration staff. The Safety Check Stations are trained to discern if a <br />two wheeled vehicle presented for inspection meets the Moped or Motorcycle category <br />and will code the Safety Check Inspection sheet to identify as such.
