<br />COUNTY OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br />BILL NO. 148 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAW AI'I COUNTY CODE 1983 <br />(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAW AI'I: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 Purpose. To lessen the speed limit on thiS narrow, one-lane road, thereby <br />promotmg public safety. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 Chapter 24, article 10, division I, sectIOn 24-253.1, schedule I I <br />(15 mile per hour limit), paragraph (c), South Hllo, of the Hawal'l County Code 1983 (2005 <br />Edition, as amended), IS amended by addmg the followmg, to be appropnately numbered and to <br />read as follows' <br /> <br />"( ) Pi'ihonua Road, from a point 7 mile northwest of the terminus of <br />Walanuenue Avenue at the southern terminus of Bridge 25-2 to its <br />western termmus " <br /> <br />SECTION 3. New material IS underscored. In prmting this ordmance, the undersconng <br />need not be mcluded. <br /> <br />SECTION 4.
