If more space is needed, use a blank sheet and attach to this form. <br /> <br />Show <br /> <br />This position serves as the program manager responsible for the County's program regarding the reduction and prevention of <br />underage alcohol consumption by youth ages 12-17. The manager will survey and assess the magnitude of the problem; identify <br />the community needs, service gaps, and related problems; and work with governmental, private, and community organizations to <br />develop a comprehensive plan of activities and strategies for the prevention of underage alcohol consumption. <br /> <br />% <br /> <br />of <br />time. <br /> <br />Duties will include the following: (1,2,3) <br /> <br />Under the Hawai'i Strategic Prevention Framework (HI-SPF), the manager shall address the objective of the State's incentive. \ <br />grant to reduce and prevent underage alcohol consumption by youth ages 12-17 in the County of Hawai'i. <br />. Conducts surveys and analyses of data to identify community's needs, resources, and service gaps. <br />. Develops and implements plans, strategies, and activities to build prevention capacity, address identified needs, and <br />establish sustainability. \ <br />. Implements at least one evidence-based environmental strategy as defined by the grant that utilizes diverse approaches in 50 <br />achieving the desired effect including policy change, media campaigns, and enforcement/compliance that are appropriate for 1/ <br />the particular goals related to the HI-SPF. <br />. Develops specific benchmarks related to the County's program to prevent and reduce underage drinking of youth ages 12-17 <br />years old. / <br />. Evaluate program activities and prepare outcome measures. Evaluate implementation process and fidelity of evidence- <br />based programs if adaptations are made. 1,2,3 <br /> <br />Establish relationships with community leaders, government agencies, service providers, and community members.
