<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> A G R E E M E N T <br /> <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day <br /> <br /> of 2009, by and between the CITY AND COUNTY <br /> <br /> OF HONOLULU, hereinafter called the "CITY," and the COUNTY OF <br /> <br /> HAWAII, hereinafter called the "COUNTY." <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY and the COUNTY agree under this cost <br /> <br /> sharing agreement that the CITY shall provide certain services to <br /> <br /> support the COUNTY's real property tax program under the terms <br /> <br /> and conditions described herein; <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES. The CITY shall provide the COUNTY <br /> <br /> with technical services, including the development and <br /> <br /> maintenance of an appraisal manual; the development and <br /> <br /> maintenance of a building classification manual; training and <br /> <br /> technical support for valuation methodology, including market <br /> <br /> modeling, cost, and reconciliation; and technical support for <br /> <br /> standards, procedures, and reports, including any non-appraisal <br /> <br /> manuals, relating to system-wide quality controls. Unless <br /> <br /> otherwise provided for in this agreement, the aforementioned <br /> <br /> services shall be limited to areas of statewide concern, common <br /> <br /> to all counties and provided in editable electronic formats.
