a. <br />3. <br />The CDBG project amount for the Residential <br />Rehabilitation Loan Program may change to accomodate <br />the actual amount of program income received. <br />DESCRIPTION OF HOME PROJECTS <br />The State of Hawaii is required to submit its 1998 <br />Action Plan to HUD for the 1998 HOME Program. It is <br />anticipated that the State will continue to divide the <br />HOME funds among the three neighbor island counties. <br />The County of Hawaii anticipates that it will receive <br />approximately $963,000 for its 1998 HOME Program. <br />To prepare for the 1998 HOME program the County <br />requested project proposals and will submit the <br />following projects to the State's Housing Finance and <br />Development Corporation for approval: <br />1998 HOME Projects Amount <br />County of Hawaii HOME Rental Assist.Program $750,000 <br />Kurtistown Self -Help Housing $135,000 <br />-Land Acquisition <br />Hamakua Assisted Living Facility $ 15,000 <br />Feasibility Study <br />Administration - OHCD & Rental Asst. Program $ 63,000 <br />Total $963,000 <br />The HOME project amount for the County of Hawai'i's <br />HOME Tenant -Based Rental Assistance Program may change <br />to accommodate the actual amount of HOME funds received <br />by the County from the State. <br />DESCRIPTION OF ESG PROJECTS <br />The State of Hawaii is required to submit its 1998 <br />Action Plan to HUD for the 1998 ESG Program.
