AGING <br /> AGING <br /> c. Maintain and manage the HCOA database. Update and enforce procedures to <br /> insure database integrity and prompt software and hardware upgrades whenever <br /> necessary. <br /> HCOA data staff researched and submitted a request for proposal to replace its <br /> current aging network system. This involves upgrading the current hardware <br /> and software that HCOA has been running for the past nine years. HCOA data <br /> staff has attempted to parallel the replacement of the old system with the move <br /> into the new facility. After relocating to the ADRC facility, HCOA data staff <br /> person installed new server equipment hardware and software, terminated <br /> existing data cable ends and ran new data cabling as needed. HCOA data staff <br /> person also coordinated the transfer of DSL data communication lines from Hilo <br /> Lagoon to 1055 Kino`ole Street. <br /> During this period HCOA data staff person began installation and <br /> replacement of new PC's for office staff. Additionally, HCOA data staff <br /> person coordinated, with Dept. of Public works on a new light switch and <br /> new electrical outlet for office equipment. <br /> 5.
