. - as N� k ' .. . <br /> • COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> IT E ' GI' M� 'I -• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 311 10 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF <br /> MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR MULTI -YEAR LEASES FOR TWO (2) COPIERS FOR THE <br /> OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10 -11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation <br /> requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be <br /> approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into multi -year lease agreements for five (5) years for <br /> two (2) copiers for the Office of Housing and Community Development; and <br /> WHEREAS, the leases of their two copiers currently in use will be expiring soon and both machines have <br /> exceeded their recommended usage and are constantly being repaired; and <br /> WHEREAS, obtaining leases on technically advanced copiers, which provide more features and options, <br /> will increase staff productivity and will allow them to keep up with the increased demands placed upon the <br /> offices. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into five (5) year lease agreements for two (2) copiers <br /> for the Office of Housing and Community Development. <br /> 2.
