BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Prosecuting Attorney's Office participated in development of the statewide Sexual Violence Primary <br />Prevention Plan and has been approved to receive funds from the Department of Health Maternal & Child <br />Health Branch to build capacity and prepare Hawaii County for implementation. Funds will support Area <br />Strategic Work Groups sessions, capacity building workshops, and participation in the SVPP Implementation <br />Committee and facilitator training on Oahu. <br />DATE: 2/24/10 <br />
