Kenoi, dated March 1, 2010, transmitting for consideration <br />the proposed Operating Budget for the County of Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year <br />July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. This balanced budget includes estimated revenues and <br />appropriations of $375,367,419 and includes the operations of 11 of the County's <br />special funds as well as the general fund. This budget is $11,678,784 less than the <br />current year's budget and includes furloughs of two days a month for County <br />employees as well as providing for an estimated 11 percent decline in real property <br />tax revenue. <br />Postponed: March 31, 2010. <br />(Note: There is a pending motion made by Ms. Naeole- Beason and duly seconded <br />by Mr. Yoshimoto to recommend passage of Bill 211 on first reading and close file <br />on all related communications.) <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated March 1, 2010, transmitting a booklet <br />containing the reports entitled Six Month Progress Report on Prograni Objectives for <br />FY 2009 -10 and Final Status Report on Prograni Objectives for FY 2008 -09. <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING <br />THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 (the Capital <br />Im.rovement Pro'ects Bud et for Fiscal Year 2010 -2011 <br />From Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated March 1, 2010, transmitting for consideration <br />the proposed Capital Budget (CIP) for FY 2010 -11, and the Capital Improvements <br />Program for the next six years from Fiscal Year 2010 -11 to 2015 -16, consisting of <br />39 projects requiring a total appropriation of $127,603,000, of which approximately <br />$113,426,100 is intended to be funded in whole or part by bonds, $14,175,000 to be <br />funded from Federal Grants Receivable, and $1,900 to be funded by fair share <br />contributions. <br />Postponed: March 31, 2010. <br />(Note: There is a pending motion made by Ms. Naeole- Beason and duly seconded <br />by Mr. Yoshimoto to recommend passage of Bill 212 on first reading and close file <br />on all related communications.) <br />(Note: Comm. 712.1, also related to Bill 212, continues on the next page) <br />
