No. 737 /Res. 310 -10 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> 78 -128 Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua -Kona, Hawai`i 96740 <br /> TIME: 4:40 P.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br /> Communication 737 and Resolution 310 -10, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 310 -10, transmitted via Communication No. 737 from Council Member <br /> Kelly Greenwell, dated March 4, 2010, to further notify the Hawai`i State Department of <br /> Transportation about the Kohanaiki Park intersection safety hazards. <br /> There were no public testifiers. <br /> Council Member Kelly Greenwell stated the Council had already sent a nearly identical <br /> Resolution 241 -09 to the State Department of Transportation in October 2009, and that he is <br /> frustrated by lack of response. <br /> Council Member Pete Hoffmann agreed this intersection is a serious hazard. Mr. Hoffmann <br /> questioned the broad inconsistency of the resolution title versus the closing "Be It Resolved" <br /> statement.
