0 <br />(4) Corrections and community corrections programs. <br />(5) Drug treatment programs. <br />(6) Planning, evaluation, and technology improvement <br />programs. <br />(7) Crime victim and witness programs. <br />WHEREAS, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of <br />2009, P.L. 111 -5, 123 Stat. 115, (hereinafter "Recovery ") was <br />enacted to help stabilize the economy, provide jobs and much <br />needed resources for states and local communities; <br />WHEREAS, the Governor has designated Agency to serve <br />as Hawaii's office for administering the federal financial <br />assistance available under the Act; <br />WHEREAS, Grantee, as an agency of the County of <br />Hawaii is qualified to receive funds available to Hawaii under <br />the Act and its implementing regulations, contained in the <br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) State <br />Solicitation, and 28 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Part 66, and under <br />Recovery and has applied to Agency for receipt of the same as a <br />subgrantee; <br />Revised 8/09 2 <br />
