No. 379 -10 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> 78 -128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua -Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 379 -10, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 379 -10, transmitted jointly with Bill 286, by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via <br /> Communication No. 908 dated July 30, 2010, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an <br /> agreement with the State of Hawai`i Department of the Attorney General's Crime Prevention and <br /> Justice Assistance Division for a Enforcement of Protective Orders and TROs Grant to the Hawai`i <br /> Police Department. <br /> The purpose of this grant is to improve Hawai`i Police Department's ability to ensure prompt service of <br /> all protective orders. This includes case management of all Firearms Ownership Prohibited and other <br /> firearms violations that arise from service of protective orders.
