Comm. 38: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE (Bill 12) 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO OUTDOOR LIGHTING (adds the definition of "Blue light content" and "Traffic color complaint" to Article 9, Section 14 -51, Definitions; and amends Article 9, Section 14 -52, General Requirements, by changing partially shielded lighting fixtures to fully shielded lighting fixtures and allowing LED fixtures with less that 2% blue light content and traffic color compliant within 1320 feet of signalized intersections or within 100 feet of marked crosswalks) From Public Works Director Warren Lee, dated December 10, 2010, transmitting the above bill.
