BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Office of Aging is supporting efforts of the Hawaii Fire Department to continue their Project Lifesaver <br />Program that began in 2007. Project Lifesaver is a national program that allows older individuals affected by <br />dementia and at risk for wandering to remain in their homes rather than being institutionalized.
