REQUEST: <br />Requesting approval of a multi -year contract for Electronic and Printed Legal Research services. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />Hawaii County Charter Section 10 -11 requires Council approval of contracts extending beyond one fiscal <br />year. The Office of the Corporation Counsel requests approval of a five (5) year contract for Electronic and <br />Printed Legal Research with West, a Thomson Reuters business.
