COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />4.4 11 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br />YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE OF <br />ONE (1) COPIER FOR THE OFFICE OF AGING <br />WHEREAS, Section 10 -11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br />obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more <br />than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawai'i wishes to enter into a multi -year lease agreement for five <br />(5) years for one (1) copier for the Office of Aging's Hilo Office, as their current copier lease has <br />expired; and <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Aging is looking for a comparable copier to their present unit, <br />with a higher capacity to meet the steady increase /demand in their office; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease <br />agreement for one (1) copier for the Office of Aging. <br />2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br />obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that one copier, comparable to the existing copier in <br />the Office of Aging's Hilo Office shall be leased for a period of one (1) year at a cost not to <br />exceed $200 per month, and in addition to the monthly lease, the cost per page of black <br />and white copies shall not exceed $0.0085, and the cost per page of color copies shall not <br />exceed $0.065. <br />
