The Honorable Dominic Yagong, Chairman <br />and Members of the County Council <br />Page 4 <br />By letter dated September 17, 2010, the applicants have requested a letter of no <br />effect from the State Department of Land and Natural Resources Historic Preservation <br />Division (DLNR -HPD). The property is not among those listed as historic in the Hawaii <br />State Register of Historic Places and has not been determined to be eligible for inclusion <br />in the National Register of Historic Places. <br />As the project site is improved with a single- family dwelling and used for pastoral <br />purposes, no professional flora or fauna study was conducted of the site. Due to the <br />developed state of the project site, the applicants believe that there are no known rare or <br />endangered flora or fauna on the site.
