The bill appropriates revenues of $8,892 in the Federal Grants - Victims of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account; and appropriates same to the Prosecuting Attorney's Victim of Crime Act - American Recovery and Reinvestment Act account. These funds, derived through the State of Hawai`i Department of the Attorney General, are provided in order to continue to provide assistance to victims of felony and misdemeanor violent crimes.
