BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />This donation is offered from the Sayre Foundation to the Hawai'i Fire Department's Ocean Safety division <br />and consists of 4 Surftech rescue surfboards $4,887.00; 2 Zoll AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) for <br />$3,922.88; and 8 Recreonics Fanon megaphones $1,153.48. <br />The donation will provide needed equipment to facilitate the delivery of safety services, preventive actions <br />and basic emergency life support by Water Safety Officers. <br />AL-.' <br />Department Head <br />DATE: 14L4 <br />
