Freire and Marilyn L. Nicholson to the County of Hawaii Public <br />Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission. <br />Council District 7 — Enock N. Freire is a 31 -year resident of Hawai'i. He is a registered financial advisor, <br />currently employed by Anderson Wealth Planning, Inc. Mr. Freire is the International Service Chair of <br />Rotary Kona Sunshine and a member of the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce. He is also an <br />advisory board member of Disabled Adventures Hawai'i and Atini International (an international <br />community development organization). He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If <br />confirmed, Mr. Freire will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2015. <br />Council District 6 — Marilyn L. Nicholson is a 37 -year resident of Hawai'i. In 2007, she retired as the <br />Executive Director for the Volcano Art Center. Ms. Nicholson serves as a member of the Friends of <br />Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. She recently completed her term as a member of the County of Hawaii <br />Cost of Government Commission and Board of Ethics. Ms. Nicholson states that she is a Democrat.
