Sako <br />Deputy Director <br />r.a <br />The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources has authorized a <br />$96,457.50, federally derived Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant to the Hawaii Fire <br />Department. The grant's purpose is to provide for training and the acquisition of <br />equipment as specified under the Volunteer Fire Assistance program. <br />A Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant account was appropriated for $50,000 in anticipation <br />of grant funding for FY2011 -12.
