REQUEST: <br />Please prepare a bill to increase the appropriation by $46,457.50 for the FY2011 -2012 Volunteer Fire <br />Assistance Grant, by Agreement between the State of Hawai'i, Department of Land and Natural Resources <br />and Hawai'i County Fire Department, and to appropriate funds for the project as follows: <br />010.221.5221.38.480 Volunteer Assist -Fed Misc Equipment $ 46,457.50 <br />010.3303.00Volunteer Fire Assist - Federal Grant Revenues $ 46,457.50 <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Hawai'i County Fire Department applied for and was notified of the approval of the grant application for <br />the Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant Program for $96,457.50 or $ 46,457.50 more than the FY2012 <br />budgeted amount of $50,000.
