The bill increases <br />revenues of $21,268 in the Federal Grant-Victims of Crime Act account, and appropriates <br />same to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Victim of Crime Act account. These funds will be <br />used to support the Victim of Crimes Act (VOCA) program, providing salaries and wages <br />for five staff, sub-grants for direct services to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, <br />homicide, child abuse, and limited operating expenses. <br /> <br />Comm. 442: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 11-86, SECTION 1, WHICH <br />(Bill 133) AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 11-59, PERTAINING TO THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2012 <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated October 19, 2011.
