Hawaii's office for administering the federal financial <br />assistance available under the Act. <br />WHEREAS, Grantee is qualified to receive funds <br />available to Hawaii under the Act and its respective <br />implementing regulations, contained in the Project Safe <br />Neighborhoods (PSN) grant announcement, and 28 C.F.R. Chapter 1, <br />Part 66, and has applied to Agency for receipt of the same as a <br />subgrantee; <br />WHEREAS, Agency has reviewed Grantee's application for <br />funds, and is satisfied that all of the requirements of the Act <br />and its respective implementing regulations have been satisfied <br />and that Grantee is capable of using the federal funds requested <br />appropriately; <br />WHEREAS, Grantee has demonstrated the capacity to <br />provide the services, programs and activities described herein <br />and is ready, willing and able to provide the required services, <br />programs and activities; <br />NOW THEREFORE, Agency and Grantee for and in <br />consideration of the covenants, conditions, agreements, and <br />2 (10/2011) <br />
