COUNTY OF HAWAII '-' STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 184 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3 OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO BUS STOPS AND <br /> PUBLIC ROAD TAXI STANDS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. This measure was generated due to a request by the Hawaii Police <br /> Department to increase the number of taxi stalls along Ka`ahumanu Place. The existing conditions <br /> indicate that there is a need for the additional stalls in the subject area. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3, Section 24-275.1, Schedule 23.1 . Public road <br /> taxi stand locations, subsection (f), Kona, Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended). is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> (f) Kona <br /> (1) Ka`ahumanu Place, [beginning from a point twenty two - - - - . - - ranee <br /> . - . . • - - -• . . •] at its western terminus, in the• <br /> four signed and marked stalls, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application. <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
