Towata <br />Revocable Living Trust <br />Request: A -la to RS -20 <br />Tax Map Key: 7-6-004:018 <br />The Leeward Planning Commission, after a duly held public hearing on February 16, 2012, voted <br />to recommend for your approval the proposed legislative bill for a Change of Zone from an <br />Agricultural — 1 acre (A -la) to a Single -Family Residential — 20,000 square feet (RS -20) zoning <br />district for 1.090 acres of land. The property is located on the east (mauka) side of the <br />Mamalahoa Highway in H61ualoa town at the northeastern corner of the Old Government Road - <br />Homestead Road intersection, across from the H61ualoa Gallery, H61ualoa 1St and 2"d, North <br />Kona, Hawaii. <br />The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br />favorable consideration of the request: <br />The applicant requests a Change of Zone from A -la to RS -20 for 1.090 acres of <br />land to develop a 2 -lot subdivision with an average lot size of 23,000 square feet. One <br />parcel (Lot 14-A) will be approximately 23,748 square feet, and the other parcel (Lot 14- <br />B) will be approximately 23,750 square feet in size.
