Asphalt paving on Old Government Road <br /> shall extend from the property line parcel 18 to as close to the rock wall of TMK: 7-6- <br /> -004:13 as is practicable. Appropriate pavement striping at the intersection of <br /> Mamalahoa Highway and Old Government Road may be required of the applicant by <br /> the department of public works at no cost to the county. <br /> (2) Provide drainage improvements, if required, at no cost to the county. <br /> (3) Provide a minimum of 10-foot radius from the setback at the southeast corner of the <br /> parcel for future road widening for improved turning within the mauka area of the <br /> subdivision. The applicant is not required to pave this section. <br /> (4) Relocation of private and public utility pole(s) shall not be required. <br /> (5) Street lighting shall not be required. <br /> (6) Old Government Road may be renamed after a community meeting is held. Signage <br /> shall be placed by the department of public works once the street name and directional <br /> or informational signs(s)requirements are determined <br /> F. On the preliminary plat map reflecting the proposed subdivision of the subject property, a 5- <br /> foot wide future road widening setback,with no access permitted along the private roadway <br /> (known as Homestead Road) shall be clearly delineated and labeled in a manner meeting with <br /> the approval of the Department of Public Works. <br /> G. Restrictive covenants in the deeds of all the proposed lots shall give notice that the terms of <br /> the zoning ordinance prohibit the construction of a second dwelling unit and condominium <br /> property regimes on each lot. This restriction may be removed by amendment of this ordinance <br /> by the County Council. The owners of the property may also impose private covenants <br /> restricting the number of dwellings. A copy of the proposed covenant(s)to be recorded with <br /> the State of Hawaii Bureau of Conveyances shall be submitted to the Planning Director for <br /> review and approval prior to the issuance of Final Subdivision Approval. A copy of the <br /> recorded document shall be filed with the Planning Department upon its receipt from the <br /> Bureau of Conveyances. <br />
