Traffic safety. There is not enough parking for the density of the project. <br /> There is no on street parking. The driveway is unsafe in times of heavy <br /> traffic to have two cars enter and exit at the same time due to the <br /> location of driveway. There is a rock wall on one side and a guard rail on <br /> the other side. The driveway cannot be located at another location due to <br /> the guard rail. Illegal parking would occur from the project. I would not be <br /> able to see out of my driveway creating a major safety issue. A traffic light <br /> should be installed for safety reasons. The traffic light may reduce the <br /> traffic congestion at Puainako and Kino'ole intersection and the Kawili and <br /> Kino'ole intersection during peak traffic hours. <br /> 2. Drainage and flooding issues. In 2008 roadside improvements were made <br /> (Federal Aid Project #STP0100(059) drainage issues occurred after <br /> completion of the project. Water did not drain from the affected area <br /> which comprised my property and the proposed property to be rezoned. <br /> Water did not drain from the affected areas for over 4 months. The <br /> property is located in the new FEMA flood zone. Even with a dry well or <br /> wells drainage system being installed on the project property, my property <br /> would flood from the water table rising during periods of heavy rain and <br /> flooding as the project property would be covered in concrete and asphalt <br /> except for a very small set back areas. The project property does not <br /> drain overland into gutters and drains.The project property drains into my <br /> Comm. No sS5• Z <br /> Ref.To: ry� 2012 <br /> Ref. Dote F <br />
