Funds will be used to construct a pedestrian walkway on Waiānuenue Avenue between Waiau Street and Pe‘epe‘e Falls Road to improve road conditions, alleviate drainage overflow, and provide safe pedestrian access and possible bicycle travel. Intr. by: Mr. Ikeda Comm. 853: PROVIDES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF EASEMENTS IN PRIVATE PROPERTY BY (Res. 308-12) EMINENT DOMAIN, BEING A PORTION OF TAX MAP KEY NUMBERS: (3)2-7-004-118 AND (3)2-7-027-065, SITUATED AT PĀPA‘IKOU, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, TO PROVIDE A PEDESTRIAN PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT TO THE BEACH AT PĀPA‘IKOU Authorizes the Office of the Corporation Counsel and the Department of Finance to initiate proceedings in eminent domain to acquire the two above-mentioned parcels for the purpose of establishing public pedestrian access to Pāpa‘ikou Beach. Intr. by: Mr. Yagong Comm. 854: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF (Res. 309-12) MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE FOR ONE (1) DIGITAL MULTI-FUNCTION COPIER FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT Authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement for one digital multi-function copier to be used by the Finance Department’s Purchasing Division. The copier shall be leased at a cost not to exceed $334 per month, plus an amount not to exceed $0.03 for each black and white copy for up to 15,000 copies per month. Intr. by: Ms. Ford (B/R) Comm. 855: AUTHORIZES THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF THREE (3) WINCHESTER- (Res. 310-12) WESTERN SELF-LOADING SKEET TRAPS FROM THE STATE OF HAWAI‘I DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES Donated by the State of Hawai‘i Department of Land and Natural Resources, these three (3) Winchester-Western self-loading skeet traps, with a total value of $5,115, will be used at the County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation’s Trap and Skeet range.
