The goal of this project is to improve <br /> the efficient exchange of information within the criminal justice system. The project includes <br /> automated transfer of case information and reports from the Hawai`i Police Department Records <br /> Management system to the Prosecuting Attorney's office HITS case tracking system and Laserfiche <br /> document management system. The project also includes the creation of an electronic discover <br /> process and addresses meeting the Judiciary's electronic filing of criminal cases requirement.
