The grant funds will be used to allow the Hawai`i County Civil <br /> Defense Agency to purchase specialized equipment to enhance the capability of state and county <br /> agencies to prevent and respond to incidents of terrorism and to support"all hazards" <br /> catastrophic preparedness initiatives. <br /> The State Homeland Security Program FY 2010 had an original appropriation of$1,000,000 in <br /> anticipation of funds. $931,487 has been allocated to this account to-date.
