This parcel is no <br /> longer used by the County of Hawai`i and County Departments have no intent to use this site. <br /> Furthermore, the County has determined that this parcel is economically and physically unsuitable or <br /> undesirable for development or utilization due to its size, shape, and location which by definition, is <br /> considered as a remnant in accordance with Section 2-110 of the Hawai`i County Code. <br /> Spencer D. Jackson recently acquired the abutting parcel and has expressed interest in acquiring this <br /> County remnant parcel, which has an appraised value of$3,100.00. Per Section 2-118 of the <br /> Hawai`i County Code, such remnant parcels may be disposed of without recourse to public auction. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the abandonment by the County of Hawai`i and sale to Spencer <br /> D.
