The Office of Housing <br />and Community Development has accepted a proposal from Mohouli Senior Phase 1, <br />LLP to attach a Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment Contract to the Mohouli Heights <br />Neighborhood Project, Phase 1. This program makes rental housing units available to <br />low-income families that are not within the current housing fair market rents. <br />Comm. 267: AMENDS CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 19-89.5 OF THE HAWAII <br />(Bill 75) COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO KULEANA <br />LAND EXEMPTIONS <br />From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated April 25, 2013. Eliminates residential <br />and agricultural zoning restrictions and allows qualified parcels in residential use, <br />agricultural use, or vacant land to be eligible for a kuleana land exemption; and clarifies <br />that vacation rental use does not qualify as a residential use with regard to this <br />exemption. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities.
