The purpose of this bill is <br /> to clarify the procedures for, and usage of, the combined hearing process. <br /> Chapter 12, Section 28 allows two public hearings to be combined into a single public hearing <br /> in order to streamline the process. This bill primarily clarifies the procedures and will more <br /> clearly allow the final details of plans and specifications to be prepared after a combined public <br /> hearing. Additionally, the bill adds a 10% cost overrun threshold into section 12-17.
