COUNTY OF HAWAII _• STATE OF HAWAII <br />OF •MI•i, <br />BILL NO. 271 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION <br />24 -281 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br />RELATING TO PARKING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to remove the parking restriction on `Ohai <br />Street. It is believed that this restriction was to accommodate the Highway Maintenance <br />Division during their street - sweeping operation; however, the Highway Maintenance Division <br />has confirmed that this restriction is no longer needed. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24 -281, schedule 29 (parking <br />prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow -away zone), subsection (c), South Hilo, of <br />the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by repealing item 19 <br />and renumbering the subsequent items as required: <br />• •. . AA Z <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. In printing this <br />ordinance, the brackets and the bracketed and stricken material need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any <br />person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance, which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />SECTION 5.
