No. 947/Bill No. 271 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:25 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 271, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 271, transmitted by Council Member Valerie Poindexter, via Communication No. 947 dated <br /> June 30, 2014, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-281 of the Hawai`i County Code <br /> 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) by removing `Ohai Street from Schedule 29 (parking prohibited during <br /> certain hours on certain streets, tow-away zone), Subsection (c), South Hilo. <br /> The purpose of this amendment is to remove parking restriction on `Ohai Street which was intended to <br /> accommodate the street-sweeping operation by the Highway Maintenance Division.
