J�t-1 OF of COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII �rE cF•M►..� BILL NO. 271 ORDINANCE NO. 14 110 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-281 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to remove the parking restriction on `Ohai Street. It is believed that this restriction was to accommodate the Highway Maintenance Division during their street-sweeping operation; however, the Highway Maintenance Division has confirmed that this restriction is no longer needed. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-281, schedule 29 (parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow-away zone), subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by repealing item 19 and renumbering the subsequent items as required: "R i M �n i Street, 4:00 ,,, to 6:00 on Mondays.]" ]» SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. In printing this ordinance, the brackets and the bracketed and stricken material need not be included. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance, which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
