BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The County of Hawai'i owns lands in the District of Hamakua, County and State of Hawaii including those <br />identified by Tax Map Keys: (3) 4-3-009-055, 56, 57 & 58. Resolution 38-11 authorized the lease of certain <br />County of Hawai'i owned lands, which includes these parcels, and required that the negotiated lease <br />agreement for those lands be accepted by the County Council pursuant to Section 2-114(d) of the Hawai'i <br />County Code. <br />Attached is the negotiated agreement between Crown Pacific International LLC and the County of Hawai'i to <br />submit to the County Council pursuant to Resolution 38-11 so that it may be accepted in accordance with <br />Section 2-114(d) of the Hawai'i County Code. <br />SIGNED: <br />Department Head <br />DATE: <br />
