COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 145 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (One way streets), subsection (c), South Hilo, item (20), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: (20) Waianuenue Avenue. All vehicular traffic shall move in the makai direction from Komohana Street to [Kamehameha Avenue]Laimana Street between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on school days. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited left turn areas), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended by deleting the following item: [(8) Waianuenue Avenue, for the mauka bound traffic entering the Hilo Intermediate School, and for the makai bound traffic entering the Hilo High School parking lot and the track field between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days only.] SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-271, schedule 19 (Prohibited left turn areas), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: L) Waianuenue Avenue, makai bound, at the lower Hilo High School drivewayby the track field from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days only. (.) Waianuenue Avenue, makai bound. at Kamlam Street from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days only.
