Public Education and Protection <br /> 0 <br /> a. By June 2018, at least 100 participants will be made aware of elder abuse and <br /> neglect. <br /> b. A minimum of 2,060 units of legal services to an estimated 310 individuals <br /> provided to address the need for information about legal: advice, counseling, and , <br /> representation. As a result, 80% of cases opened have satisfactory resolution. <br /> c. By June 2018, a minimum of 4,200 householders,physician offices, and <br /> organizations receive the monthly publication called the"Silver Bulletin,"which <br /> aims to increase the knowledge of and access to benefits and programs for older <br /> individuals and their caregivers in Hawai`i County. <br /> Special Note: <br /> Contracts to the Elderly Activities Division,Department of Parks &Recreation. <br /> Funds provided to the Elderly Activities Division are deposited directly to its respective <br /> accounts.
